The wedding of Betty Marie to Mr Fredrick Ellison took place on Saturday, the Twenty-fifth of December
One thousand nine hundred and forty-three at two o'clock at Baptist Church West Danby, NY.
Ellison - Harker
Miss Betty Marie Harker, daughter of Mr and Mrs C E Harker of West Danby, became the bride of Frederick Ellison,
son of Mr and Mrs George Ellison of Elmira at 2 pm Saturday, in the Baptist Church of West Danby. An arch was fabricated,
and the church was decorated with evergreens.
Loyd Morris officiated, and Mrs Morris played the wedding march. Mrs John Maki sang "I Love You Truly" and "Oh
Promise Me."
Attired in a street-length dress of baby blue wool, the bride had a corsage of Talisman roses and brown accessories.
Her maid of honor, Miss Dolores Ellison of Elmira was dressed in a tan wool outfit with brown accessories. Her corsage was
of yellow roses and purple spray. The bride's mother selected black accessories with her wine colored dress. Brown accessories
and a brown velvet dress completed Mrs. Ellison's outfit.
Steve Polovick of Elmira was best man.
There was a reception at the home of the bride's parents for members of the immediate families and friends.
The bride, who graduated from Newfield Central School, is now employed at the Remmington Rand Corporation in Elmira.
Mr Ellison, who is now employed in the office of the Delaware, Lackawanna, and Western Railroad, was graduated from Elmira
Free Academy.
For a wedding trip to Niagara Falls, the bride selected a green wool dress and brown accessories.
Mr and Mrs Ellison will make there home in Elmira.
