About Me

Hi, my name is Melissa June Ellison Merritt. I live with my husband Steven and my two beautiful daughters Hayley Marie and Elizabeth Ann. We have two Lab's, Mikey, and Luke who make my day. I started my genealogy research starting with my husband's side of the family, as my Dad had done most of his side. Dad had since given me all the information and has made me the genealogist of the family. I had a blast going thru all the old photos, obits, letters, newspaper clippings and so much more. My Uncle Kenny before his death had given me a ton of pictures and all the old diaries from my great-great grandmother and my great grandmother along with alot of other information and was a huge help in making this web-site possible. He will always remain in my heart and I loved him dearly. I told him I would make sure to share the information given to me for all of you. My Aunt Dottie (Dolores Polovick my grandpa Fredrick Ellison's sister) has also been a great help as I have been taking info and pictures to her for help identifing who these people are. Without all of your help this web-site wouldn't be possible. So any information you would like to share would be greatly appreciated. As I have time, I will share with you the information.
